A Spanglish Production House for Artistas

Casa Duhamel is a Spanglish Production House for Artistas created by Magdiela Hermida Duhamel and Davin B. Duhamel, a dynamic Mexican-American producer duo with expertise in animated and live-action film. Their collaboration began at Pasadena City College’s television department, a partnership that flourished into both a personal and professional union. Together, they blend unique storytelling perspectives with a wealth of diverse production experience. Before transitioning into film production, Magdiela and Davin achieved significant success in the event planning industry, with “Produce My Event”.

Magdiela Hermida Duhamel is a talented producer with experience in both animated and live-action films. She has worked with renowned studios such as FX Networks, FOX, DreamWorks Animation, and Warner Brothers Animation. Her portfolio includes, Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia, Marvel Studios' What If…?, and Nickelodeon's The Casagrandes. A passionate advocate for diversity, she founded LatinX in Animation in 2018 to foster a community for Latine professionals in animation, VFX, and gaming. Currently she works as an associate producer at Pixar Animation Studios.

Davin B. Duhamel has had a love for storytelling and has been creating stories since he was old enough to press record. He studied television production, film production, and animation where he directed many projects that won multiple awards and scholarships. His college projects led him to directing live events and eventually producing events alongside his wife. Since college Davin has had a successful 12+ year career in the post production field where he has had the chance to work with almost every major studio.

Davin & Magdiela have been working together as a Director/Producer team longer than they have been married. It was at Pasadena City College’s television department that the partnership began and continues to this day. There isn’t a producer who understands their director, or a director that understands their producer, better than these two. They are able to bring their unique storytelling perspectives and combine diverse production experiences, while inspiring their team to push all aspects of the production to their healthy limits in order to deliver a quality product that can stand out on its own!
